Wedding in Lexington SC and T and S Farms Reception :: Holly and Chad

Holly and Chad told us when we first spoke that they were friends with Jessica and Greg, but until recently, I totally forgot that they were IN the wedding!  I went through some old photos and found this blast from the past!  I always think it is so cool when people who we photograph indirectly (like a wedding party) later become our customers!

Holly and Chad had a beautiful wedding day, which was one of the first chilly days in SC (then again, anything below 90 is chilly here lol).   The wedding took place in Lexington, SC at St. David Lutheran Church.

This is my kind of family portrait!  Sure, the traditional photos after the wedding are great, but if it were my family, this is the one I would print and hang up  Sure, its not a perfect photo, but it shows a family who loves each other and are having a great time at a wedding.

Sometimes people just need a little encouragement to smile

Normally the girls take a ton of photos before and the guys are ready to be done.  Bring in a cool car, and they guys are ready to take as many photos as you want!

Holly and Chad didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but they still shared a special moment together on opposite sides of a door.  It does make it a little difficult to kiss the bride!

I love how all the parts of this photo come together… you’ve got the minister telling everyone to stand, Chad’s expression as he first sees Holly, and the ring bearers expression too!

Kids always see weddings differently.  Especially when they have to stand up front!  Leave a comment below if you think you know what these kids are saying.

My favorite moment of a wedding day is when the bride and groom walk down the isle together for the first time, and the time right afterwards before everyone else finds them!

The reception was at T and S Farms in Batesburg-Leesville (owned by Shealys BBQ… YUM!).
