I LOVE engagement sessions (in case you haven’t noticed)! I especially love new ideas and sessions that really tie into a couples relationship. Of course an engagement session on the beach isn’t a new idea, but its one that I don’t do very often… so it gives me a chance to be creative and try new photography ideas.
This was a special place to Tony and Megan because they love to spend as much time as possible together at the beach. Not to mention, Tony and Megan got engaged on the fishing pier in these photos! Tony’s family has a condo nearby, so Tony has memories of growing up here. He told me about coming fishing at the Cherry Grove Boat Ramp when he was younger. Tony has always loved fishing, but Megan has never tried it before! It was a perfect opportunity for photos when Tony tried to teach Megan how to fish
The session was also special to us because I went to high school with Tony and Megan. It had been a while since I had seen them, but I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding. It’s so cool to see friends from years ago fall in love and get married. We had a great time during this session, and it really shows in the photos.

Kathryn Williamson - The engagement pictures of tony and megan look awesome! Love the black and white that megans dress is wet at the bottom and they are kissing with the pier in the background.. Plus I love the color pic of them with the pier stretching out behind them… These pictures are beautiful and I havent ever seen my best friend glow as she did in these pics… Megan is going to be a beautiful bride and I cant wait… Im getting excited!
