Timmy and Aubrae’s Wedding in Rock Hill, SC

If you’ve been following my blog for any time now, you probably already know about my friends Timmy and Aubrae.  We did an awesome engagement session in an enchanted forest and I wrote all about our friendship on that post.

So the crazy thing about photographing this wedding is that I was also the best man.  Of course I couldn’t do both well, so I worked together with another photographer and Ashley to get all around coverage!

The wedding took place in Rock Hill at a camp owned by Aubrae’s church.  It was a beautiful camp and a great place for a wedding.  Aubrae and Timmy were actually the first couple to get married there!  Aubrae is very good with “wedding crafting” and it really showed in the details of the wedding.  They used a tree and wildflower theme and pulled it off perfectly.

It was totally different for me getting to be IN a wedding instead of photographing a wedding.  In fact, even though I’ve been to about 150 weddings, I’ve only attended 3 where I was not a photographer.  It was nice to be part of the wedding, but still get to take part in the photography as well.

I’m so excited about my best friend being married.  Then again… I feel like we’re turning into old guys!  O well, at least I’m an old guy with great friends!
