Jordan is a senior this year at Covenant Classical Christian School. She already has some senior pictures, but I asked her if I could take some of her as well just for the heck of it. I decided to play around some with some of these images, so they aren’t quite like my normal senior portraits… but in my opinion they mostly fit well with Jordan’s personality.
Jordan, if you don’t like the editing, don’t worry… I still have the normal photos too.
Here are some of my favorites.

Kristiaan wasn’t to happy with her senior portraits from school, so we decided to go do another session for her. I had to do some convincing to get her to step onto USC campus, but the horseshoe is a really great place to do portraits with an outdoors feel to them. Not to mention, we were able to find all kinds of things that related to Clemson while we walked around.
Kris, I hope you like these better than your school portraits.

I personally think this picture has somewhat of a Clemson feel to it

This is my personal favorite.

Same shot, different color.

These are some pictures I took of Megan before I had my blog. I thought I’d go ahead and put a few up since they never made it to the site.

This was the first time I had the opportunity to take pictures of someone with their dog. Olivia wanted to surprise her husband with a picture gift for their 2 year anniversary. She and Jasmine dressed up in their best USC colors and we went to the horseshoe to take pictures on campus. O… by the way, today is their anniversary… so happy anniversary Olivia!
Olivia’s cousin Melissa (an awesome graphic artist) came along to help us with Jasmine. Melissa told me that she and Olivia were both sore the next day from trying to get Jasmine to behave. All in all it was a really fun shoot and I learned about some challenges with photographing pets.
The main thing I learned was it is important to pay attention to getting the owner to look great, and just hope the pet falls into place in the picture. My tendency was to wait for Jasmine to look, but I should have focused more on Olivia. I think the pictures turned out great and I have the privilege of doing more photography for Olivia and her family in the future!

So… Rachael was telling me a story about this random guy who came into the store she was working at (a womens clothing store) and asked if she had ever done any modeling. She told him no and he asked if she wanted to “be in his portfolio.” He gave her a card and Rachael did a little bit of research on the guy… only to find out he was a pimp! So of course… I said “I’m not a pimp… do you want to be part of my portfolio?” She said she’d be happy to model for me… so we went out and took some pictures. She would actually make a good model, because she knows how to do all the model faces lol.
